22 Feb – Zack Snyder recently announced that his new zombie horror thriller, "Army of the Dead" will be releasing on Netflix soon. The filmmaker, who is currently busy promoting his director's cut of the "Justice League" film, announced the news on Twitter on 21 February, writing, "Survivors take all. [Army of the Dead] on Netflix May 21". He also added that the teaser will be unveiled this Thursday (25 February).
The upcoming film, which stars Dave Bautista, will revolve around a group of mercenaries pulling off a risky heist amid a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. The project was first announced in 2019, marking Snyder's return following his 2017 hiatus, after the loss of his 20-year old daughter, Autumn, to suicide. Snyder also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Joby Harold and Shay Hatten, aside from producing the said project that also co-stars Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder, Matthias Schweighöfer, Samantha Win and Rich Cetrone. On the other hand, the Snyder cut of "Justice League" will debut on HBO Max on 17 March.
