15 Dec – Matthew Vaughn recently assured that the third movie in the "Kingsman" franchise will be filming next year. The British director, who helmed the previous two "Kingsman" movies, shared the good news at the promotional event of his new movie, "The King's Man", telling ComicBook.com, "We're all set to go. We start filming in September." He also added that the third film will wrap up the story concerning Eggsy, the lead character played by Taron Egerton.
It is noted that back in 2019, Egerton stated that there will be a third movie, adding, "That plan, at the moment, is what we'd like to do another one, one more time." On the other hand, the new movie, "The King's Man", is a prequel and the origin story that leads to 2014's "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and 2017's "Kingsman: The Golden Circle". It stars Ralph Fiennes, Djimon Hounsou, Harris Dickerson, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and more.
