24 Nov – After he was announced to be part of the new animated feature, "DC League of Super-Pets", John Krasinski recently revealed that he will be voicing Superman in the said film. The "A Quiet Place" director shared the good news on social media by posting an image of Superman flying around the city alongside his dog Krypto - the latter being voiced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson who is also producing the said project.
"Always wanted to do a buddy movie with @TheRock. Well, these are the roles we were born to play!" he wrote, and added, "(FYI... DJ's the one with the tongue)." Krasinski's involvement in the project was announced back in June alongside other stars like Keanu Reeves, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, and Kevin Hart - the latter to voice Ace the Bat-Hound. "DC League of Super-Pets" is written by Jared Stern and John Wittington of "The Lego Batman Movie" fame, and is scheduled for release in May 2022.
