1 Jul – Liam Neeson is re-teaming with director Jaume Collet-Sera to work on an hour-drama series based on their hit 2011 action thriller, "Unknown". The upcoming project, which will be written by Sean Finegan ("Free Fall"), will see Neeson executive producing, though he will not be playing the lead this time. The original film stars Neeson as Martin Harris, a doctor who - upon losing his memory after a car accident - wakes up to find that his identity has been taken by another while he himself has become a target of mysterious assassins. It co-stars Diane Kruger, January Jones and Bruno Ganz.
The series reportedly will pick up after the events of the film and follows a new lead character "that is thrust into a mind-bending adventure full of twists and turns", according to Deadline. Jaume Collet-Sera will be back to direct the said project.
