2 Jun – Legendary actress Michelle Pfeiffer is always ready for the next challenge, as she recently showed off her preparation for the upcoming "Ant-Man" film. On 31 May, the actress, who plays the role of Janet Van Dyne a.k.a the first Wasp, posted a clip of her on a treadmill, as she expressed, "Janet Van Dyne entering the Quantum Realm. I'll be ready." Pfeiffer then proceeded to begin her run at a fast pace, with a smile on her face throughout the video. She captioned the video, "Janet van Dyne will be ready."

It is noted that her character, who appeared in the 2018 "Ant-Man and the Wasp", turned into dust in the end-credits of the said movie, but is revealed to came back offscreen in the 2019's "Avengers: Endgame". The upcoming movie, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" is scheduled for release in 2023. Peyton Reed is back to direct the third film, with Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas all returning as well. In addition, Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. Back in 2018, the actress expressed her elation to be part of the said franchise at her age, saying, "I loved that in this phase in my life I'm playing a superhero. The message that it sends to women of all ages that we are still kicking ass."
