28 Jan – Following the success of her HBO series, "Lovecraft Country", Misha Green is set to make her directorial debut as the new director for the upcoming "Tomb Raider" sequel movie.

The television writer, director and producer stepped up after Ben Wheatley, who was originally on board to helm the film, was revealed to no longer be involved - though no reason was given as to why the "Rebecca" director departed.

Green previously directed the eighth episode of her HBO show, which starred Jurnee Smolet and Jonathan Majors. She has already expressed excitement about her new project, and revealed that her favourite classic Tomb Raider was "Legend", and a tie between "Rise of the Tomb Raider" and "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" from the reboot.
