25 Mar – James Bond alum Pierce Brosnan will be joining the upcoming New Line/DC superhero movie "Black Adam" starring Dwayne Johnson.

Johnson also shared the good news on Twitter, posting, "Such a pleasure to announce the final member of our [Justice Society], the statesman Mr [Pierce Brosnan] as the iconic and all knowing, Dr Fate. I'm grateful to have such a talented, diverse and hungry cast."

The new movie, which will see Johnson playing the DC anti-hero known for his disregard of rules and conventions, also stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

Jaume Collet-Serra, who has worked with Johnson in Disney's "Jungle Cruise", will be directing the project.
