17 Dec – Awkwafina and Sandra Oh are set to collaborate in an upcoming comedy to be produced by actor-comedian Will Ferrell. The upcoming film, which has yet to reveal its title, will follow "a brilliant but tightly wound, Jeopardy-obsessed young woman (Awkwafina) who must reunite with her estranged, train-wreck of a sister (Sandra Oh) when they're forced to come up with the money to cover their mother's gambling debts." It looks like it will be another road trip movie, with the two characters "embarking on a wild, cross-country trek in a desperate hope to win enough cash the only way they can think of - by becoming a Jeopardy! champion." Despite being in the early stage, it was reported that 20th Century Studios has already acquired the rights to the project. Oh, who is most known for her role in "Grey's Anatomy", recently became the lead in the Netflix series, "The Chair", while Awkwafina was last seen in "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings". The two also previously worked together as voice actors for "Raya and the Last Dragon".
