18 Oct – Sylvester Stallone recently shared that "The Expendables 4" has finally wrapped up filming, and so too is his performance as its leader, Barney Ross. The 75-year-old actor shared the news in a video he posted on Instagram, saying that it was his last day of filming and that he will be returning home to the US. Saying that concluding filming was bittersweet, Stallone stated that he is now ready to "pass the baton" to Jason Statham. "But you know, the greatest thing is to be able to provide films that somewhat entertainment and maybe there's a little message in there, but what I was trying to convey in my successful films is the human touch, the bond, not so much the action. It's just relating to the audience in a way that they can identify with whatever the mission is and the characters in hand," he said. Stallone, who has worked on the franchise for the past 12 years, returns to play Barney Ross alongside familiar faces like Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, with the new additions of Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Andy Garcia and 50 Cent.
