5 Apr – Zendaya has been announced to be a part of the cast of the upcoming film, "Space Jam: A New Legacy". The news was announced following the release of the official trailer by the film's Twitter page, with a GIF image of Lola Bunny - the character that is voiced by the actress, and the words, "Welcome to the Jam, [Zendaya]." Zendaya is joining cast members in the likes of Khris Davis, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Looney Tunes Cartoons' Jeff Bergman and Eric Bauza, as well as NBA superstar LeBron James who will be playing the lead in the upcoming hybrid movie.
The movie will follow James as he is thrust into a digital space known as "The Serveverse" where his son is abducted by an evil algorithm known as Al-G Rhythm (played by Don Cheadle). In the previous "Space Jam" starring Michael Jordan, Lola Bunny was voiced by Kath Soucie. The movie is scheduled for release on 16 July. On the other hand, Zendaya is also set to reprise her role as MJ in "Spider-Man: No Way Home", as well as star in the upcoming adaptation of the sci-fi "Dune".
