24 Feb – After making her acting debut in Netflix's "He's All That", TikTok-famous Addison Rae is set to star in the upcoming movie, "Fashionista".
The social media influencer confirmed the news on her Instagram recently, sharing a screenshot of the Deadline headline and captioning it, "2/22/22."
No details have been released regarding the upcoming film, except that it would be written by Laura Terruso whose work include "Work It" and "Good Girls Get High", and produced by Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay, who previously produced Rae's aforementioned Netflix movie.
Reportedly, several studios have been offering roles for Rae in their projects, but that "Fashionista" was the kind of movie the budding actress wanted to do next.
In a previous interview, she expressed, "I want to show people I'm not just limited to one thing. I want to play the bad guy but also the good guy. I eventually want something really deep and emotional and real as possible."
Rae became famous in 2019 when she began posting videos of her dancing on TikTok, amassing over 81 million followers in just two years. She also ranked the fourth most-followed individual on the platform behind Charli D'Amelio, Khaby Lame and Bella Poarch.
