28 Apr – Warner Bros has recently confirmed what everybody has already guessed...
There will be a sequel to its 2022 DC film, "The Batman".
The news was announced by Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group Boss Toby Emmerich during the studio's CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas, with director Matt Reeves revealing that he will write and direct the said sequel.
"Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman," said Reeves. "We couldn't have gotten here without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world. I'm excited to jump back into this world for the next chapter."
"The Batman", which stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader and has The Riddler as its main villain, made its debut in March with the biggest opening weekend of 2022 and soon becoming the second pandemic era movie to cross USD 100 million in a single weekend following "Spider-Man: No Way Home".
It is currently the highest grossing film of the year 2022.
