20 Apr – Good news all you Exploding Kittens lovers everywhere. The highly addicting card game is coming to Netflix as a TV series.

The news was shared by the makers, The Oatmeal in a series of posts, saying that it is being produced by Mike Judge (of "Silicon Valley" fame), and Greg Daniels of "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation".

"I've been very busy working on the show for the past year with my brilliant, hilarious co-writer, Shane Kosakowski. The cast has been hysterical to work with," it added.

The series, which will feature the voice acting of "Lucifer" star Tom Ellis and "Elementary" actress Lucy Liu among others, is described as "the eternal conflict between heaven and hell when God and the Devil are sent to Earth but in the bodies of cats."

It will be released on Netflix next year.

The Oatmeal also revealed that aside from the TV series, "Exploding Kittens" will also be a Netflix game that will be launched next month.

Similar to the card game, the Netflix game will see players aiming to avoid the Exploding Kitten.

The game has been beloved by many since its release in 2015

No animals will be hurt in the making of the series
