14 Jul – Ryan Gosling has recently debunked rumours that he has been cast in a Marvel role.

As reported on The Direct, previously, rumour has it that Marvel is looking for the right person to play Richard Rider aka Nova of the planet Xandar, as seen in "Guardians of the Galaxy".

It was said that an upcoming project which features the said character will go into production in 2023, and that Gosling has been cast to play the role.

However, the rumour was debunked by MTV News' correspondent Josh Horowitz, who revealed on Twitter, "Next week my full chat w/Ryan Gosling for MTV News... But for now, an honest to goodness EXCLUSIVE... Ryan and I chatted about the Nova rumors yesterday which he said aren't true."

"BUT this morning Ryan reached out to me to say there is one superhero he wants to play... GHOST RIDER," he added.

For the time being, the actor is busy promoting his new Netflix movie, "The Gray Man", as well as appearing in the upcoming 2023 Mattel movie "Barbie", co-starring Margot Robbie.
