20 Jun – Following the success of "Aladdin", it was revealed that director Guy Ritchie has been given the responsibility to helm another Disney's live-action remake - the 1997 animated feature, "Hercules".

The upcoming movie will be produced by AGBO, a studio owned by Joe and Anthony Russo of "Avengers: Endgame" fame, and they are currently on the search of writers to improve on the first draft of the movie written by Dave Callaham ("Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings").

The animated feature tells the story of Hercules as he embarks on a journey to prove himself worthy enough to return to his place among the gods.
