26 Jan - Josh Gad had fans screaming with excitement recently after he decided to share an image from the movie, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids".

In an Instagram post that he published last week, the actor shared a photo of the hit 1989 film lead actor Rick Moranis as scientist Wayne Szalinski alongside his invention, and captioned it, "Homework."

"OMG, does this mean what I thought this mean?" asked one netizen.

"My favourite all-time movie when I was a kid. I'm excited for this!!!" another enthused.

Moranis will reprise his role in the sequel of the said family movie called "Shrunk", with Gad to play his grown-up son Nick, which was played by Robert Oliveri in the original.

The original, directed by Joe Johnston, revolves around the Szalinski siblings and their fellow neighbours the Thompsons who find themselves in an adventure after their inventor father's machine accidentally shrunk them to a quarter inch size

The sequel, which will be released on Disney+, will have Moranis returning to Hollywood after more than a two-decade hiatus following his wife's passing in 1991.
