8 Nov - Kamal Haasan made a pleasant surprise much to fans' delight by announcing that his next film will be directed by Mani Ratnam. Sharing the good news on Twitter, the actor shared a clip that revealed that his KH234 movie will be directed by the "Ponniyin Selvan" helmer, with music to be arranged by maestro AR Rahman. "Here we go again," the actor tweeted.

In the official press release, Kamal stated, "I was equally excited 35 years before when I was about to start work with Mr. Mani Ratnam. Collaborating with a similar mindset is stimulating. This stimulation includes Mr. Rahman as well. Eagerly looking forward to present this venture with Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin." On the other hand, Mani expressed, "Happy, honoured and excited to collaborate with Kamal again."
Kamal and Mani previously worked together in the 1987 movie, "Nayakan". Meanwhile, AR Rahman last scored music for Kamal for his 2000 comedy, "Thenali". The upcoming project is set to release in 2024.
