1 Aug – Following news that there will be a "Rocky" spinoff film about the character's antagonist, Ivan Drago, Sylvester Stallone recently took to social media to express his frustration about the project.

On 31 July, the Rocky Balboa actor, shared three different articles about the project, currently known as "Drago", expressed, "Another Heartbreaker... Just found this out..."

Referring to producer Irwin Winkler and his two sons, he wrote, "ONCE AGAIN , this PATHETIC 94 year old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC USELESS VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me... I APOLOGIZE to the FANS , I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites..."

However, at the same time, Stallone stressed that he has nothing but respect for his good friend Dolph Lundgren, who played the character in the original movie.

It is noted that "Drago" is a spinoff of "Creed", which itself is a spinoff of "Rocky". The upcoming film will be penned by Robert Lawton. On the other hand, Michael B. Jordan is also directing the third instalment of "Creed", to be released in March next year.
