12 Sep – The highly-anticipated "Snow White" live-action remake is set to be released sometime in 2024.

The news was confirmed by Walt Disney Studios at the Disney's D23 Fan Convention, where the two leads Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot were also in attendance.

Gadot, who has been cast as the iconic evil queen, shared her thoughts about playing the baddie, saying, "First of all, for me, it was very different from anything I've ever done before. I'm used to playing the other end from where the heart should be. She is the first and most iconic villain in the world and stepping into her shoes and getting under her skin was so delightful. I enjoyed it so much."

On the other hand, Zegler, who will play the titular role, stated that it was a dream come true for her to play the role of Disney's first ever princess.

The movie will be helmed by Marc Webb of "The Amazing Spider-Man" fame.
