14 Sep - Following the success of Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis", it was revealed that another movie is to begin production soon on another member of the Presley family. As reported on THR, director Sofia Coppola is set to direct an upcoming film about Priscilla Ann Presley, the former wife of the great King of Rock and Roll, via renowned studio, A24. Coppola also wrote the script for the working title of "Priscilla", which is based on the memoir, "Elvis and Me", written by the businesswoman herself, who met the singer when she was 14-years old and living in Germany with her family.
The movie will have actress Cailee Spaeny ("Mare of Easttown", "Pacific Rim: Uprising") portraying the actress-businesswoman, while Jacob Elordi, most known for his roles in "The Kissing Booth" and "Euphoria", playing the role of Elvis. Filming will begin in Toronto this fall.
