6 May – Sophie Turner recently revealed that she and husband Joe Jonas have no plans to turn daughter Willa into yet another famous celebrity child. Speaking to Elle UK recently, the mother of one, who is currently pregnant with her second child, said that she is very protective of Willa, as she didn't choose life as a celebrity. "I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, and to be photographed every day and have the comments. It's not something I want her to deal with unless she says, 'This is what I want to do'," she said.
The "Game of Thrones" star also said that she and Jonas have discussed about their kid's future, saying that they will always be encouraging but would never let Willa do anything until she is 18. "I also feel quite strongly about my daughter not becoming a nepotism child," she said. Nepotism child is a term that has been thrown around especially lately, referring to celebrities who made their way into showbiz via their parents' influence, including stars like Gwyneth Paltrow (daughter of actress Blythe Danner and producer Bruce Paltrow), Dakota Johnson (daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith), to Jaden Smith (son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett).
