13 Sep – Although Marvel disappointed fans with the lack of casting announcements for "Fantastic Four", it did however, feed them with news about their upcoming project, "Thunderbolts". On 11 September, the studio chief Kevin Feige revealed the main roster for the upcoming film at the Disney's D23 Expo, which consists of the antihero of the MCU. These are Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). They are also joined by Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and Contessa (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Based on the 1997 comics of the same name, the Thunderbolts is a team consists of the antiheros that are trying their best to be the good guys, whether through their own volitions or via the government. The upcoming movie, to be directed by Jake Schreier, will begin shooting next year for a 26 July 2024 release.
