20 Jun – It was reported that Vijay's 67th movie project, which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will have the actor playing his age.
According to Pinkvilla, a source recently revealed that Vijay will be playing a 40-something gangster in the new untitled movie.
"While the film narrative has some flashback sequences featuring the younger version of self, a major chunk of the narration will see Vijay in the 40s. He will be sporting a salt and pepper look, and the character presentation will be on the lines of Rajinikanth's "Baasha". Be prepared, as the film will see Vijay like never before," the source added.
On the other hand, it was revealed that Lokesh Kanagaraj is planning to create his own universe of films revolving around agents and gangsters, and would like to have Vijay be a part of it.
Vijay and Lokesh previously worked together on the hit 2021 movie, "Master". The latter is also currently promoting his new Kamal Haasan movie, "Vikram".
It is noted that the director has a slew of upcoming films already, including "Kaithi 2" and "Vikram 3".
