29 Nov – "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" continues to soar at the box office even during last (Thanksgiving) week, despite other movies not doing well in the same period. The film was revealed to have grossed another USD 32.1 million overseas and USD 64 million in the US to finish with USD 675.6 million - slowly gaining speed to surpass another Marvel film, "Thor: Love and Thunder", which made USD 760.9 million this year. It is noted that Marvel's biggest movie this year is "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness", which made USD 955.7 million at the box office. On the other hand, Disney Animation's "Strange World" didn't do well in its first five-day release, earning only USD 18.6 million and becoming the worst opening for a Disney Animation Thanksgiving title in modern times. The animated feature is already going to lose a lot in the overseas market after choosing to pass 20 markets to avoid censorship due to its LGBTQ theme.
