17 Oct – Whoopi Goldberg recently confirmed that the third "Sister Act" movie is currently in the works, and that she would like to invite a lot of stars to join in on the fun. The film star shared the good news with host Charlamagne Tha God on Comedy Central's "Hell of a Week", stating that the script for the new film will be delivered by the end of October. When mentioned that Keke Palmer has expressed interest to be cast in the film, Goldberg stated, "I'm gonna ask Keke to come." "I want everybody to come. I want Lizzo to come in, I want everybody. I want Nicki Minaj. I want everybody. I want as many people who want to have some fun, because I really, desperately, need to have some fun," she said. The original 1992 "Sister Act" movie, which stars Goldberg as a Las Vegas nightclub singer forced to join a convent after being placed in a witness protection programme, made USD 231.6 million at the box office. "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit", released the next year, made USD 125 million. "Sister Act 3" will debut on Disney+.
