1 Nov – Amelia Henderson has already completed the payment of RM10,000 to the production company A Aida Production Sdn Bhd. This was confirmed by the actress' lawyer, Wan Nurliyana Abdul Rahman, who stated that the whole payment was made on 27 October, following the decision made by the High Court in response to Amelia's appeal. In a previous ruling, judicial commissioner Leong Wai Hong ruled to allow Amelia's appeal against the previous Session Court's decision that she must pay more than RM200,000 in damages to the said production company.
Instead, the "Pulau" actress was ordered to pay a nominal compensation of RM10,000 within 14 days. A. Aida Production, owned by actress-turned-producer A. Aida (Datuk Zaidah Awang), sued Amelia, real name Amelia Thripura Henderson, back in July last year after the actress decided to withdraw herself from filming the drama, "Sekali Lagi Cinta Kembali" at the last minute.
