13 Feb – Although Ajith Kumar and director H Vinoth have already moved on to their third movie, "Thunivu", it was reported that a filmmaker has now filed a complaint accusing their previous movie, "Valimai" of plagiarism.

The filmmaker, a man named Rajesh Raja, filed his complaint to the Police Commissioner office in Chennai, saying that ten scenes from his movie "Thanga Sangili" seemed to have been lifted by the 2022 movie.

It was reported that the director has tried meeting with H Vinoth several times to discuss the matter but was unable to do so, which is why he decided to reach out to the police, a year after the release of "Valimai".

Prior to "Valimai" and "Thunivu", Vinoth directed Ajith in the 2019 movie, "Nerkonda Paarvai".
