4 Apr – "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" has now bested "John Wick: Chapter 4" to climb to the top of the box office chart with the opening number of USD 38.5 million, domestically. The movie, which is based on the famous Hasbro's fantasy tabletop game, also made USD 33 million overseas from 60 territories, earning it a total of USD 71.5 million globally.
Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, the movie has Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant playing the bard, the barbarian, the paladin, the sorcerer, the druid, and the rogue, respectively. Meanwhile, the Keanu Reeves' starrer, "John Wick: Chapter 4" didn't do as well as last week, earning only USD 28.2 million domestically and USD 35 million internationally in its second week.
