12 Apr – In the latest development of Farid Kamil and Diana Danielle's marital woe case, the actor recently took to social media to apologise to the actress and her mother for his previous statement. On 11 April, the actor took to Instagram Story and said that he will retract the statement he made in response to a question by the media regarding a third party. Without explaining further, he expressed, "I humbly apologise publicly to my mother-in-law, Norsiah Ramli and wife, Diana Danielle for my statement this morning. Once again, in this glorious month of Ramadan I beg to be forgiven for the mistake that happened." Earlier, Farid admitted that he was surprised to see Diana's mother Norsiah arriving in court together with Diana, as the actress had 'kicked her out of their house' in 2019. "I haven't been able to contact Mama (Norsiah) for a long time because as far as I know, Diana kicked her out. It was surprising to me that she appeared in court with Diana last week," he said. Farid also made headlines when he offered reconciliation gifts to Diana involving assets, jewellery and advance of payment amounting to RM319,700, which the actress eventually rejected.
