31 Oct – Lyca Productions is getting fans excited by sharing a new photo from Rajinikanth's upcoming new movie, featuring the superstar alongside his equally famous co-star Amitabh Bachchan. The photo, which has Rajini standing and peeking at the phone Big B was holding, gained nearly 500,000 likes since it was posted on 29 October. The studio wrote, "When Superstar and Shahenshah met on the sets of #Thalaivar170. Reunion on screens after 33 years! #Thalaivar170 is gonna be double dose of legends!"
It also added that they have completed the Mumbai filming schedule. Rajinikanth previously expressed his elation over being reunited with Big B, writing on X, "After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca's "Thalaivar 170" directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!" The film has yet to reveal its official title.
