28 Mar – "John Wick: Chapter 4" is showing its action prowess by amassing USD 137.5 million at the global box office. The movie, which opened on 24 March, made USD 73.5 million domestically, making it the biggest opening number for a "John Wick" movie. The original "John Wick", released in 2014, opened to a modest USD 14 million, with its sequel taking in USD 30.4 million in 2017 and the third opening with USD 56.8 million in 2019.
In addition, the movie has also been getting praised from cinemagoers and critics alike, with many calling it the best one in the series. The successful opening number seemed to motivate Lionsgate to want more, with its head Joe Drake saying that they are not ready to say goodbye to Keanu Reeves yet with the franchise. This is in contrast to director Chad Stahelski's previous statement, where he stated that the fourth movie will conclude John Wick's story.
