5 Sep - It was RM19 million just a few days ago, and now "MALBATT: Misi Bakara" has reached more than RM 20 million at the box office. On 4 September, GSC Movies revealed that the movie has now made RM 26 million at the box office in just a mere 11 days.

The team of ACT 2 Pictures also thanked the Malaysian Army for all the help and support given throughout the making of this film. "To the secretariat and the Meeting Assistance Team who are always there to provide guidance and advice, your services are greatly appreciated," the company stated. Fans congratulated the team for the job well done, with one saying that she went to watch the movie twice, saying that it's worth a repeated watch. The film is based on a true story revolving around the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) operation, tasked to rescue United States (US) soldiers who were trapped during the civil war in Somalia in 1993.
