4 Sep - "MALBATT: Misi Bakara" continues its successful run, as it closes the gap to RM 20 million at the box office. Director Adrian Teh and lead actor Hairul Azreen shared the good news recently, saying that the movie has now made RM 19 million at the box office after just eight days of release. "[MALBATT: Misi Bakara] is still hanging on on the top spot after a week of release. Let's support the movie while the school holiday is still on," the actor posted.
It was not long ago that the movie made RM 13.5 million at the box office, and it seems that there is no sign that the great reception is slowing down. The film is based on a true story revolving around the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) operation, in which they were tasked to rescue United States (US) soldiers who were trapped during the civil war in Somalia in 1993.
