19 Jun – Syafiq Yusof's film "Polis Evo 3" marks another milestone by earning RM50 million after 24 days of screening, making it the biggest franchise in Malaysia. The news was shared by the cast and crew of the movie via social media, stating, "Praise be to God. Thank you. Malaysia's No.1 movie of choice in 2023 "Polis Evo 3" managed to collect RM50 MILLION! Thank you all for your unending and endless support, our local films are able to be on par with international films!!" The movie even surpassed the likes of "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts", which made its premiere in Malaysia last week.
Speaking about the latest development, executive producer Raja Jastina Raja Arshad stated that they are elated over the support. "It is hoped that the success of Polis Evo 3 will inspire us and other producers to continue producing quality works. The audience have proven that they are supportive of local films," she said. "Polis Evo 3" sees the return of Zizan Razak and Shaheizy Sam as Inspectors Khai and Sani, and included stars Sharnaaz Ahmad, Nora Danish, Syafiq Kyle, Farali Khan, Douglas Lim, Fauzi Nawawi, Fezrul Khan, Eyka Farhana and many more.
