30 May - After only four days of official release across Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore, including its sneak preview, "Polis Evo 3" has now grossed RM16 million at the box office. The record-breaking number has now made the movie, helmed by Syafiq Yusof, the film with the highest opening weekend box office collection post-pandemic, beating "Mat Kilau", which collected RM12.2 million within four days of its official release.

"Polis Evo 3" tells the story of Inspector Khai and Inspector Sani, who return with a new mission and a new team, joined by Inspector Dani, Inspector Julie and Inspector Dell, each with their own expertise. The situation turns dire when Inspector Khai finds himself to be the next target. The friendship between Inspector Khai and Inspector Sani is tested when they discover that the suspect they are hunting down has a past with Inspector Khai. It is noted that the first movie, released in 2015, broke records by becoming the first local film to amass over RM18 million at the box office.
