27 Feb – Rajkumar Hirani recently admitted that he would have worked with Shah Rukh Khan much sooner if he knew how professional the actor is. The filmmaker, who is working with SRK for the first time in his upcoming movie "Dunki", recently shared the experience of having the Bollywood star as his lead actor, saying that SRK would always come prepared to sets. "He shoots videos of a scene at his home and sends them to me. There will be 15 ways of how he is going to do this. Before I go on the set, I know what he is going to do. Sometimes I have kept two days for a shoot and he finishes it in two hours," said the "3 Idiots" director. "He's a complete charmer and has great control over the language. He surprised me completely by coming at 7am to shoot."
Rajkumar also revealed that SRK would always make sure that his team is happy. "They eat and party together. They are a big family. I wish I had worked earlier with him," he added. It was back in April last year that the two announced that they will be working together for the first time, with the director jokingly advising SRK to avoid his signature "open arms" pose in the new movie.
"Dunki" is one of the few movies SRK has been filming for his comeback, with the first movie, "Pathaan" releasing last month. His next movie, the Atlee-directed "Jawan", will be released in June.
