26 Oct – Ranbir Kapoor recently promised that part two of his epic film, "Brahmastra" will be even bigger and better than the first movie. The actor, who recently shared some updates about the upcoming movie in an interaction with fans via Zoom, revealed that the movie is still in the process. "Brahmastra Part 2 is heavy into writing. We are working on it all the time. It's just last week that Ayan narrated the film to me and he has gone 10 times bigger than Part 1 – his idea, his thought, the character. He is working on War 2 right now," he said.
"So, the plan is to finish War 2 by mid-next year and we start shooting hopefully by the end of next year or the beginning of 2025. But definitely a lot of work is already been happening on the film." Ranbir also acknowledged the criticisms people have of the first movie, and that the team have put everything into consideration. "A lot of criticisms were constructive, so we have taken that into our stride and trying to understand that and go beyond that," he said. The first movie, "Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva", which co-stars Ranbir's wife Alia Bhatt, was released in 2022 and is considered one of the major commercial successes during the pandemic.
