13 Apr - The Mumbai police recently revealed that they have detained the latest person who made a call about wanting to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan. As reported on Hindustan Times, the police revealed that the police control room recently received a call from a man who identified himself as Roki Bhai from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, saying that he will kill Salman on 30 April, and that "you can inform him." However, the caller was later tracked and identified in Dolkhamb village in Thane instead, with the police having to chase and intercept the caller after he tried to escape on a motorcycle. The police stated, "The caller who called the Mumbai Police Control in the context of threatening actor Salman Khan was taken into custody. The caller who made the threat call is a minor." They also suspected it to be a prank, adding, "There is no seriousness in this call. Further investigation is underway."
This isn't the first time that Salman has received a death threat. In March, jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg were detained for sending threats to Salman's team.
