13 Oct – With "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, it was revealed that the hit song "Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee" will be recreated and performed by Pratik Bachan aka B Praak.


The news was shared by the singer and music director himself on social media on 11 October, writing, "#tujheyaadnameriaayi 25years!!! They say "If you dream with all your heart, the dream starts manifesting and they do come true. I am thrilled to announce that i got the HONOUR to sing for one and only [Shah Rukh Khan], [Kajol] and [Rani Mukherjee]. I hope you like our efforts."

"My only dream to sing and recreate this magical song in our style. Thank you [Karan Johar] for accepting my request and trusting us that we can do justice to your magical song!!!" he added.

Originally performed by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Manpreet Akhtar, "Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee" ("You Didn't Even Think of Me") is a heartbreak song that was part of the tracks for the movie.

It was played during a scene in which Anjali (Kajol) gets her heart broken upon finding out that her best friend Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), whom she has been secretly in love with, is about to profess his love to his crush, Tina (Rani Mukherjee).
