10 Dec - Amid the ongoing rumours that his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai are getting a divorce, Amitabh Bachchan recently took to the internet to slam those who continue to propagate fake news.

Without directly mentioning the cause of his rants, Big B wrote on his blog that he considered rumourmongers as "idiots and those with limited brain."

"They make and print their own imbecilic fakes each day to hide their own personal, brainless, half-witted deficiencies in such..." he posted.

Not stopping there, the veteran actor also posted on X, "Those who derive their own meaning from every word hide the misfortunes of their personal lives."

Rumours of marital woes between Abhishek and Aishwarya have been going on for many months now, with some accusing the actor of cheating on his wife with his "Dasvi" co-star Nimrat Kaur.

However, both Abhishek and Aishwarya have kept silent regarding the rumours, occasionally appearing together at events to show that everything is fine between them.

Meanwhile, Nimrat Kaur, who was asked about the cheating rumours back in October, only responded, "I could have done anything, and people would still say what they want. It is not possible to stop such gossip, and I prefer to focus on my work."
