"Anak Perjanjian Syaitan 2" is now showing in Pakistan

4 Nov - Ahmad Idham recently revealed that his movie, "Anak Perjanjian Syaitan 2" is now being released in Pakistan.

The filmmaker, whose film was released in Malaysia and Brunei back in January and amassed RM 3.5 million at the box office, shared that the film's release in the country under the title "Gunah" is considered a success for everyone involved.

"This is a great opportunity and achievement and we want to share this joy with other fellow Malaysian filmmakers where the local film industry is now starting to gain ground internationally," he expressed. "We have to continue to do our best so that we can continue to penetrate other market in the future. We also hope that 'Gunah' will have a great reception in the selected 38 theatres."

The second film, which starred Alif Satar, Eyka Farhana and Fasha Sandha, tells the story of Azlinda (Eyka) who is facing her own mystical battle with an unknown entity since she was a child, due to something that happened to her parents.

"We hope that the movie will bring new experiences to Pakistani moviegoers and create new interest towards local movies in the international market," said Kevin Foo, 8TV Chief Operating Officer, Film & Content Distribution, Media Prima Television Network.
