27 Dec - Following the success it is experiencing in Malaysia, the producers of "Babah" revealed that the movie is now releasing in Singapore.

Speaking to the media about the film, which has now made RM 6 million after only three weeks of screening, Nads Media Entertainment producer Nadia Mohd Nadzri said that they have received a request for the film to be released in Borneo as well as in Singapore following the viral success of the film.

"Although it has been in theatres for three weeks now, there are still many people who want to come and watch the movie and we heard that the second wave is coming with the school holidays," she said.

"We gave our all and made this story with sincerity, which is how the film truly affects people who watched it. The entire production also didn't expect Babah to go viral on social media and become a topic of conversation, let alone everything happening organically," she said.

In addition to Singapore, Nadia said that there is also planning for them to bring the movie to Indonesia in the near future.

The film stars Qi Razali, Cristina Suzanne, Sweet Qismina, Kis Aisha, and Adam Lee, and tells the story of Isyak and his daughter Maya as they face the ups and downs of life.
