12 Jun - Will Smith proves that he still has it in him, as his new "Bad Boys" movie is reviving the summer box office with a USD 104 million global opening.

The new movie, "Bad Boys: Ride or Die", which reunites Smith and his pal Martin Lawrence, has made USD 56 million in the US, and then collecting USD 48.6 million more internationally.

The movie, which is the fourth film in the "Bad Boys" franchise, is doing much better than the third film, which opened to USD 62 million when it was released in 2022.

In the new movie, Smith and Lawrence return as Miami cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, who have to go on the run after their late police captain gets linked to drug cartels, and they attempt to clear his name.

The film is helmed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who previously directed the third film, "Bad Boys for Life".
