23 Sep - It looks like even the Autobots and the Decepticons could not defeat the power that is Beetlejuice.

The Tim Burton sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" still reigns supreme at the US box office, with the movie adding USD 26 million last week, adding a tally of USD 225 million domestically.

It has now amassed a global cume of USD 329.7 million.

Meanwhile, "Transformers One" was unable to meet the expected USD 40 million opening in the US domestic opening as previously predicted, after only bringing a total of USD 39 million worldwide for its three-day opening.

It is noted that the animated feature, which has Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry and Scarlett Johansson lending their voice to the characters, was made with a USD 75 million budget.

Meanwhile, the film will later compete with another animated movie to be released on 27 September, "The Wild Robot".
