13 Jun - Dwayne Johnson recently shared a new update about his new starring role, saying that he has injured his right elbow filming A24's "The Smashing Machine".

Speaking to his fans on social media, the actor showed off the bump on his elbow, saying that it looked like a cantaloupe-sized bump.

"Any time your film is called The Smashing Machine, you're going to kind of get smashed up," he said. "I got banged up pretty good today in our scenes. There might be some soft tissue fluid in there, we'll see."

"But the pain feels pretty good. All good," he said.

Johnson said that he will need to have the fluid drained before going under the MRI machine to assess the damage.

The actor portrays two-time UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion Mark Kerr in the new movie, which is penned and directed by Benny Safdie of "Uncut Gems" fame.
