1 Apr – Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are now in negotiations to reprise their roles in the sequel to their hit 2003 comedy movie, "Freaky Friday". The two stars, who previously expressed interest in reprising their roles as the mother and daughter combo, Tess and Anna Coleman, will be joined by director Nisha Ganatra, who has been hired by Disney to helm the movie. It is noted that Ganatra's most recent work is directing the episodes of the miniseries, "Welcome to Chippendales".
Back on 29 March, Curtis delighted many when she shared a photo of her reunion with Lohan on social media, writing "DUH! FFDEUX!" with FFDEUX meaning "Freaky Friday Two". Based on the 1972 children's book by Mary Rogers and the original adaptation starring Barbara Harris and Jodie Foster, the new film will have Lohan and Curtis playing the older version of their characters.
