3 Jan – Jeremy Renner is ready to get back to work, now that he is doing much better since his near-fatal accident.
A year after the incident occurred on 1 January 2023, the actor revealed during an interview with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper that he is set to return to the third season of his show, "Mayor of Kingstown".
"It's been a wonderfully busy year. I think I'm ready, and I think I'm strong enough. I literally go back in a week," he said.
Renner also stated that he has a lot to celebrate for in 2023, saying that he has been blessed with many great things.
"I have a giant family, a 10-year-old daughter. I would have disappointed and messed up a lot of people's lives if I passed. There's a lot for me to fight for. Recovery is a one-way road in my mind. I still work hard every day," he said.
Renner was hospitalised with a blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries after he was run over by his Sno-Cat vehicle while trying to save his nephew from being run over by the snowplow.
