2 Jul - Kamal Haasan is truly grateful to his Malaysian fans for their undying support as he visits the country once again to promote his new movie, "Indian 2".

The Indian thespian, who appeared in front of a crowd in NU Sentral on 29 June, stated that it was his fans' love and encouragement that made him always want to come back and meet with the fans in Malaysia every time he has a new movie.

"Indian 2 is the result of the hard work and dedication of many talented people. I am thankful to [director] Shankar, Lyca Productions and [distributor] Red Giant Movies for their valuable effort to the project," he said.

At the same time, the actor confirmed that the third instalment of the title, which released its first movie in 1996, will be released after "Indian 2".

It is noted that the 1996 vigilante film stars Kamal as a retired freedom fighter who rebels against corruption in India, which puts him in conflict with his son who lives by corruption.

Aside from Kamal, the promotional event was also attended by co-stars Siddharth and SJ Suryah.
