GSC's newest location at KL East Mall is launched with a ribbon cutting ceremony

2 Jul - Strategically positioned in the North of KL, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has launched its newest location at GSC KL East Mall - now bringing the total to 53 cinema locations, as part of the organisation's strategic blueprint.

With something for all families, GSC KL East Mall is equipped with a total of 8 halls, including GSC's fourth IMAX location and the third PlayPark in Malaysia. Movie goers, particularly families and youth keen on action and animation (with the highly anticipated "Despicable Me 4" soon to be on the big screens!) can now embark on an immersive cinematic journey at GSC KL East Mall.

First IMAX in North KL area
Catch your favourite action-packed movies at the very first IMAX hall in North KL. Featuring the state-of-the-art IMAX with Laser screen complete with 12 channel sound, this space stands as the biggest IMAX hall located in the vicinity, with a total of 255 seats. The IMAX with Laser Hall delivers a next-level immersive experience, transporting movie enthusiasts with an unparalleled cinematic experience, perfect for colourful animations such as "Despicable Me 4" (opening 4 July) and many other upcoming movies available in IMAX. With a heighted multi-sensorial experience, movie-goers will be treated to an exciting yet thrilling journey with GSC's latest offering.

Can't decide between movie and play? Why not do both at the same time! Families with young kids can now enjoy playtime with a twist at GSC KL East Mall, GSC's third PlayPark in Malaysia. Parents can now have a care-free movie experience at this safe space with their kids, complete with play areas and adjoining facilities such as play area, reading corner, children's toilet, nursing room and baby changing room. The in-hall playground is designed to complement movie watching experience without having to sacrifice playtime!
