25 Oct - Tom Holland recently confirmed that he is set to return to the "Spider-Man" world soon. Sharing the good news on "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Holland said that the fourth movie will begin filming next summer. "Everything's good to go. We're nearly there. It's super exciting. Yeah, I can't wait," the actor enthused.
Meanwhile, the British actor also stated in a different interview that the fourth film will be a little bit different. "The idea is crazy. It's a little different to anything we've done before, but I think the fans are going to really respond to it," he said.
Holland also said that he and Zendaya have already read drafts of a script and that they are extremely excited with the story. It is noted that the last Spider-Man movie, "No Way Home" was released in 2021, grossing USD 1.9 billion at the box office. The upcoming film will be helmed by "Shang-Chi" director Destin Daniel Cretton, who is taking over the job from Jon Watts, who directed the previous three movies.
